Pastors Cal and Jan Switzer grew up in Prince George, B.C and were married February 2, 1980.  In response to the call of God on their lives, they went to Rhema Training Bible Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  It was there they began to attend Victory Christian Center under the leadership of Pastors Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty. 

After graduating in 1982, Pastors Cal and Jan felt God leading them to establish a strong, relevant church in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  In October 1982, on Thanksgiving weekend Victory Christian Center in Edmonton was born.

Today Victory Christian Center is located at 11520 Ellerslie Road SW, Edmonton, Alberta. 

Victory Christian Center is also the home of Victory Christian School, Victory Bible College and Victory Academy Daycare.
